We’ve made a significant enhancement to custom goal tracking in Sitecore Personalize.

If you set up a goal to track a custom value or attribute in your experiments or experiences, Sitecore Personalize now enables you to monitor and record that attribute more accurately. Now, custom goal tracking works regardless of whether the attribute is defined in the 'ext' object or at the root level of the custom event. However, Sitecore Personalize will evaluate attributes within the 'ext' object before those at the root level.

This update ensures greater consistency and flexibility in monitoring the performance of custom goals and tracking events.
